1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SolanaStake at solanastake.app ("the Service"), including via web browser, mobile app, or the Solana dApp Store version for Seeker devices, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service is a portfolio management tool that helps users track their Solana staking rewards and corresponding USD values, with optional tax reporting. The Service queries public blockchain data and historical price information to generate reports.

The Service is free to use. There are no paid tiers: every user can track up to 5 wallets at once, view about the last two years of staking history, track liquid staking tokens, and export CSV and PDF tax reports for AU, US, UK, CA and other regions. Fair-use limits on how often reports can be generated apply to everyone.

The Service includes tracking of Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) such as mSOL, jitoSOL, bSOL, and jupSOL, with real-time exchange rates, SOL equivalent values, and optional mark-to-market reward calculation across a chosen date range. Lido (stSOL) on Solana shut down in 2023; historical stSOL events recorded prior to that remain accessible in exports, but stSOL is no longer tracked going forward.

3. Wallet Connection & Non-Custodial Nature

The Service allows you to connect your Solana wallet (e.g., Phantom, Solflare, Coinbase Wallet, Ledger, or Seed Vault on Seeker devices) for identity verification, for example to save wallets to your profile. On Seeker devices, connection uses the Mobile Wallet Adapter protocol. It is important to understand:

• We never have access to your private keys. Your wallet connection uses industry-standard protocols that only allow us to view your public address and request transaction signatures.
• We cannot move your funds. Any transaction requires your explicit approval in your wallet application.
• We do not custody any assets. All your SOL, tokens, and staked assets remain entirely under your control in your own wallet at all times.
• Wallet connection is optional. You can use the Service by manually entering wallet addresses without connecting a wallet.

4. Past Subscriptions

Subscriptions are no longer sold, and every feature of the Service is free. For subscriptions purchased before the Service became free:

• Subscriptions have been cancelled or are set not to renew, so no further payments will be taken
• The Service no longer provides a billing portal or receipt downloads. For a copy of a past receipt, or any question about a past payment, contact us (see section 14)
• Legacy Lifetime members keep their "Lifetime Member" badge on CSV and PDF exports

5. Disclaimer of Tax Advice

The Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice. The calculations and reports generated by the Service:

• Are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete
• Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for tax filing
• May not reflect all taxable events or comply with your jurisdiction's requirements
• Should be reviewed by a qualified tax professional before use

You are solely responsible for your tax obligations and should consult with a qualified tax professional regarding your specific situation.

Note: Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) may have different tax treatment than native staking in many jurisdictions. Depositing SOL into an LST protocol, withdrawing LSTs back to SOL, or the accrual of value in LSTs may each be considered taxable events depending on your jurisdiction. The Service's optional mark-to-market LST reward calculation models accrual on a daily basis using exchange rate snapshots; this is one possible accounting approach and may not match the treatment your jurisdiction expects. Consult a tax professional for advice specific to liquid staking.

6. Accuracy of Data

While we strive to provide accurate information, we make no warranties regarding:

• The completeness of staking reward data from blockchain sources
• The accuracy of historical price data from third-party APIs
• The correctness of USD value calculations
• The availability or reliability of the Service

Price data is sourced from CoinGecko and DefiLlama. Blockchain data is sourced from Helius. Current liquid staking token exchange rates are sourced from Jupiter; historical LST/SOL exchange rate snapshots used for reward calculation are sourced from CoinGecko, with older days backfilled from DefiLlama. These sources may have their own limitations and data gaps, and historical snapshots for early periods of newer LSTs may be sparse or missing entirely.

7. International Tax Context

This Service provides tax period presets and report formatting for multiple jurisdictions including Australia (ATO), United States (IRS), United Kingdom (HMRC), and Canada (CRA). However:

• Tax laws vary by jurisdiction and change frequently; the Service may not reflect current requirements in your country
• Tax agency guidance on cryptocurrency (ATO, IRS, HMRC, CRA) may evolve over time
• USD values are provided; local currency conversion is your responsibility
• Individual circumstances may require different treatment
• Always consult a qualified tax professional in your jurisdiction

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service, its creators, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that sends excessive requests
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Service

11. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the project contributors. The Solana name and logo are trademarks of Solana Foundation.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
